Community Party Candidates, Village Election April 25, 2017

The Community Party of the Village of Lansing is a group of citizens dedicated to making our village government transparent, responsive and efficient. This year, Village of Lansing elections will be held on April 25th. We will be electing our Mayor, and filling two positions on the Board of Trustees. Below is the slate of candidates chosen by the Community Party at this year’s caucus.

Don Hartill for Mayor

Ronny Hardaway  for Trustee

Patricia O’Rourke for Trustee

Our Candidates:

  • Combine 30 years of experience in successfully governing the Village
  • Govern for the welfare of the entire Village – not specific neighborhoods or developments
  • Support a diverse population – homeowners, renters, and business owners
  • Encourage housing options for all residents – students, young professionals, families, and seniors
  • Develop and sustain Village-owned recreational and green spaces, including the new Village park on Northwood Road

The Community Party is dedicated to bringing together residents of the Village of Lansing, New York, irrespective of national political affiliation, to maintain a livable place in which to reside and work, to preserve important open spaces, and to provide for orderly, controlled development. Open communication and a thrifty budget are top priorities.
