o Tompkins County Youth Services Board and the Joint Youth Commission
o Greater Tompkins County Municipal Health Insurance Consortium
 Liaison to Tompkins County Regional Airport Air Services Board
 Design, implementation, and administration of the Village website –vlansing.org
Important Issues Facing Our Village
 NYSEG gas moratorium and alternative energy sources
 Diminishing number of available sewer units and the impact on development and renovations
 Attracting new businesses and supporting existing businesses
 Affordable housing for young families and for residents 55+ years old.
My Goals as Trustee
 Proactively replace aging sewer lines
 Install sidewalks on Dart Drive
 Address the aging Shops at Ithaca Mall
 Maintain low Village taxes while sustaining best infrastructure and services
 Greenway management
 Support best practices for Village staff
My wife, Deborah Dawson, and I retired to the Village in 2008 and were impressed with how Village government and staff
set aside political differences to keep the Village working for the good of its citizens and businesses. We have served in
Village and county governance since 2013.
I hope to continue to help the Village be successful, and ask for your support in serving on the Board of Trustees

Open communication and a thrifty budget are top priorities.
